Jordy’s POV
I pace the length of the room for a moment, then turn to the desk, dialing Jack, my beta.
It takes only two rings for Jack to answer. That doesn’t surprise me.
"Jack," I pause, "I bring that girl to the castle."
"Are you nut, Jordy! You bring a human to a werewolf pack?!" His voice is so sharp it can cut glass.
"I know it's an exaggeration, but her smell and body satisfy me. I'm talking about emotional satisfaction."
"If you mean to imply that your ex-girlfriends didn't satisfy you physically, then I'm going to call you a liar."
