Jordy’s POV
Emma is Austin's mate? That's impossible.
My body is shaking, trying to control my wolf.
Every werewolf only has one mate, in our history, none of us heard of a such thing as a second mate.
I stretch my arm out to wrap around Emma's waist and hold her tighter. "She's mine." I scoff internally.
Austin's eyes blaze with angry fire, with dangerous darkness.
"No, she's mine! Your mate is dead." Austin roars louder, I notice the deep shocks in his eyes, but it's too late. Emma agrees to marry me.
But Austin bares his sharp fangs at me, and Emma jumps back and screams.
Oh, no.
He is going to expose us, and there will be consequences. Emma still doesn't know we are werewolves.
I hug Emma tighter to shield her, Emma stiffs under my hands.
