Chapter 8: Gone missing

Charlie awoke to see that Their caretaker was missing and the caretaker didn't return for a whole week. When she did return, she was covered in blood, organs , skin and bone shards. "Darling child, I'm sorry I've been so busy with work all week. I'm really exhausted right now, so I need to shower and go to bed. " Charlie now had suspicions. This was not normal of Their caretaker.

They invited Lily over for a little while to hang out with her. They ended up just making plans as to where they were going for their next adventure. They decided to try and cross the barrier with the help of the reverse zombie themself. Later that day they told jack the plans. As expected, Jessica was gone again and returned covered in now-dead-person . This repeated until Charlie and their friends went to the castle on the other side of the barrier the very next month. But before that, They got a substitute teacher for about 2 days. After school, before departing, Charlie and Lily would give each other a kiss. Jack and Emily's friendship started growing during the week, too. Charlie was mostly focused on figuring out more about their caretaker.
