Chapter 4: Forest of Frights

Charlie and their friends decided to go to the forest instead of going to school. It was dark, and no one could see. Lily's hand accidentally brushed against Charlie's hand.
"So, Jack, how was your day? I'm honestly just trying to start a conversation." Lily said. Jack replied with"Well, it's not a very good way to start one. And by the way, I'm perfectly fine." Jack was smiling. You could see it through the dark if you had been there.
Then,there was a rustle in the bushes.
"J-Jack, stop playing pranks!" Lily said, panicked. "I'm right behind you, dork." Jack sounded scared for his life when he said that. "THEN WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" Emily asked, practically yelling. Then a voice answered " 'Tis I, the Great Martlet! I have arrived to defeat you beasts! step away from the barrier or face this human!" It seemed that Charlie and Their friends were close to the barrier. "Uh..... Ok, yep. let's leave immediately. " Jack said.
Normal humans hated zombies, but not Charlie and Lily and Emily. He still wore a disguise to blend in with the humans.
"Not so fast, zombie! I know what you really are!" Martlet said. Then she pulled out a sword that lit up the whole forest. Strange,it was daytime, but the forest was so dark no one could see with flashlights. Then, a scary voice spoke. It sounded....... Corrupted?
"Hmm.... look who tripped in to my little trap, a group of humans..." It then laughed creepily and eerily. Then something started running after them. they ran out of there as fast as they could.
