Chapter 6: Crystal cave

Charlie and their friends Lily and Jack (Emily was out with her mom doing grocery shopping) Decided to skip school again to go to a crystal cave. They came up on a puzzle that was set in two different rooms, each with a switch to flip. "Ok, so you and Charlie can go right and I'll go left." Jack said. "Ok,but we'll push a switch first, then I'll shout to tell you to flip the switch. Ok?" Lily replied to Jack. "Sure thing, Lily. " So then, Charlie and Lily separated from Jack. Lily found the switch immediately. "Ok, jack, Flip the switch!" Lily shouted. " I'm still trying to find it!" Jack shouted back. "It might be a while." Lily decided to talk to Charlie for a little while Jack finds the other switch. "So, um, the date was fun. Y'know, back at Chaos Kitchen?" Charlie nodded. "I've been looking forward to spending time with just you again, Charlie." Then, Charlie cupped Lily's face in their hands. "Charlie? What are you-" but Lily was interrupted because Charlie kissed her. Lily was surprised by this, but wasn't upset either. Their faces turned red, but only a little bit. "So, I guess this means we're dating, then?" Charlie nodded.

They were surprised when Jack said"Ok, we can exit to the other side, now." "Amazing, we'll meet you there!" Lily said. They made their way to the other side of the cave.When they met up with Jack, they were still blushing. "So, what happened?" Jack was being smug. "Oh,shut up. Like you don't wanna kiss Emily." Lily said, making Jack understand what he himself had said. "Touché, Lily. Touché." Jack replied to her. Charlie giggled. "All right, Lets get moving."

They were still moving towards the other side when a bracelet on Charlie's wrist started to tighten. Strange, they never noticed the bracelet. They look down at the ground, noticing something strange. Its a rune . They kneel down and touch the rune and notice it's shaped like a flame. They felt warmth spread through their body. "What is it, Charlie?" Jack asked, annoyed. Charlie pointed to the rune. "Charlie, only the reverse Zombie can do that. How did you...Wait." Lily said. "NO WAY! WE'RE FRIENDS WITH THE PERSON FROM THE PROPHECY?!" Jack said, excited and happy. "And I was just kissed by them, too." Lily said, quietly. They finally left the cave and went home and went to school the next day.
