Chapter 10: Broken

The next day, Emily was told the bad news. "Stop playing, this isn't funny." She said, getting angry. "Its not a joke, Emily. I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better, he loved you." Lily replied sadly. "This entire time, he loved me? I never knew...I loved him. " Charlie was even sadder hearing this.
After school, they went to the castle (Jessica was home for the day, and Lily asked if She could take Charlie to hang out. She said yes.) When they arrived, Jack was standing right there. But something about him was different. He spoke, and his voice was raspy and deep. "INTRUDERS!" He exclaimed. Then two soldiers who smelled dead knocked Charlie and Lily out. When they woke up, they were in a dungeon, chained up. You guys are trapped... I'm so sorry for attacking you earlier... The person speaking was the shadow brother. He seemed to be back to normal. He broke the chains in one hit. Lily's face looked traumatized about something. What is wrong, dearest human? the shadow man asked Lily. She seemed not wanting to talk about it. It wasn't Jack for sure.
They made their way to exit.
They came up with a carefully made plan to capture Jack and take him back home. Then they went along with the plan. They set a trap. He fell for the trap. The trap they set up captured him and restrained him. They all returned home (Lily's house) .They hid Jack in another guest room. Mrs.Smith had no idea about it.
