Chapter 12: Not as it seems

"Darling child, would you like to come to work with me today?" Jessica's voice rang out, now sounding eerie and evil. Charlie declined. "Ok, then, deary, but I'll always be here for you." Then Jessica left. Lily woke up shortly after that.

Charlie had difficulty focusing on class that day. Now they knew what their caretaker's"job" was. Had she just tried to kill them? No, that would be impossible. But, she did kill Jack... It makes sense. After class, Charlie, Lily, Jack, Emily and the light and dark brothers went to the science lab. "Oh! Hey, it's been a little while since I saw you guys! " Michelle said, answering the door. She was wearing her science clothes and she looked like she either just woke up and got dressed or took a shower, dried her hair and lazily and quickly got dressed. She probably didn't brush her hair because it was messy. It seemed Martlet was there, too. But, it seemed that she had just arrived a few minutes before Charlie and their group did. Martlet looked neat and tidy.

"We needed to come over and calm down for a moment..." Jack said. Lily still had her traumatized face.

[AFTER THEY TOLD MICHELLE AND MARTKET ABOUT JESSICA]

"You mean, she killed you, then they brought you back with fire? But, only the Reversed Zombie can do that... Hold on, wait, my brain isn't being my brain." Michelle said.

"So it's not braining?" Martlet said, teasing Michelle. Michelle giggled a little bit. "So,that means that Lily is sitting next to the special one?" Michelle said, confused. "Yeah, me and them are actually inseparable. They've started to sleep in my room. " Lily said, not looking so traumatized. Then, the second equinox began. Lily turned back into Brinda. Brinda had Black hair with pink horns to symbolize unusuality in a group, justvtrying to fit in. She wears a dark color tank top with matching pants, boots, and fingerless gloves. Charlie turned back into Alex the angel, who was blonde with a short ponytail and wore a hot pink scarf and silver armor with wings . Alex had green eyes with a third eye on their forehead. Jack and Emily turned into the Royal guards. "Wow... this is amazing!" Michelle and Martlet said as the same time. "You are the four heroes of the prophecy! " Michelle sounded excited. Meanwhile Martlet started in awe of the heroes.

After the second equinox of three, they all went home. jack went with Lily and Charlie. Charlie stayed in Lily's room with her and Jack got the guest room. The third equinox is to last seven days, but not to come for awhile. The third equinox is true war.
