R A Y V I N It was already late in the morning. I hadn’t slept most of the night because I’d felt sick but also too exhausted to get out of bed. My body aches all over. Turning around, my eyes found the space beside me in bed. My fingers absentmindedly traced the soft fabric. I was so used to having him in my bed, beside me and holding me tightly like it was an assignment he had to do. My body seeks him at night. I was lonely. That wasn't me on a normal circumstance feeling this way. It was my hormones. My kids craved for their father's touch and comfort, I encouraged myself. Letting out a sigh, I put on the loose fluffy bathrobe that hid my body and made my way out of the bedroom with bare feet. The house was quiet, but distantly I heard the rumble of deep voices.
