Violet's Pov
I sat in the hospital waiting room, anxiously tapping my foot against the floor. My father had been checked by numerous doctors for hours. Meanwhile, I was waiting for the call from Jason to tell me that the payment for the surgery had been processed. But the call never came. Neither did any alert.
My mind raced with worry. How would I pay for my father's surgery? Jason was my last hope, was he going to help me with this? He was so unpredictable. Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about the possibility of losing my father.
Suddenly, I saw a doctor walking towards me. My heart was racing as I stood up to meet him. "Excuse me, doctor," I said, my voice trembling with worry. "Is everything okay with my father?"
