" You heard me clearly, " Martin said, putting his hands in his pocket.
I didn't want to believe what Martin just said. I don't think that Violet even knew him to have told him such a thing. I gave him a suspicious look. I was about to ask him how he knew when Charles rushed after me and gave me a punch.
