Valian’s fingertips were gently tracing his other hand’s knuckles. He was watching Lewis storm inside his
office, holding a folder he assumed contained the information he needed about Christel. It had already
been a couple weeks and a few days, but Crane hadn’t return yet, even the vampire Lewis had sent to
give the message Valian wanted him to know. If only Crane wasn’t the only one his brother was trusting
among them, he wouldn’t send him anyway. Knowing Crane, he will surely stop by in towns, exploring
