I couldn't move, I was knee-jerked by the sound of her sharp and bold voice. I thought she died. f**k it! I thought she didn't survive.
That night after Knox's message in the group chat, I was too late. I went to the cabin we stayed in, but the boys had already left for their Packs. I called Knox, but he wouldn't pick up. My wolf growled impatiently in anger, worried about his mate.
