I sat at the table, watching the dancers twirl around the floor of Summer West Academy's prom. The decorations were elegant with green and gold streamers hanging from the ceiling, But I couldn't enjoy any of it.
The only thing running through my mind since I arrived was Axel's words about meeting me at the prom and not wearing anything underneath. I'd worn underwear, of course….I wasn't about to follow his commands but the thought of his words made my skin tingle.
I wondered if I was still doing this for revenge or if I just wanted to get accepted in a place where they didn't see me as fat. The purple dress I'd chosen hugged my curves in all the right places, making me feel beautiful for once. But the stares I was getting weren't all admiring.
