We were in the field and I was nervous. Cora was glaring at me with wide eyes ever since I locked her up and slapped Gracie, they've stayed away from me... for now at least.
The sun beat down on the track field, making me regret wearing my black leggings, though the loose purple t-shirt was at least breathable. My dark hair was pulled back in a high ponytail to keep it off my neck in the heat.
