Where the journey starts

Listra took the new job seriously. She can’t wait to see where it will lead her to. She anticipates rhe future like she was there already. Her hopes are admirable, stronger than ever. She resumed work on a beautiful October morning with her neatly ironed dress and well buttoned tshirt. She had gone to the market the previous day selecting trifty clothes which was what she could afford at the moment. As she walked through the big corridor of her company, she glanced at the big billboard that displayed the name boldly ;Your happy Dew” she tried to process the meaning especially in relation to the description of her job, she couldn’t get the relationship and shrugs instead. She walked in with confidence and asked the front desk officer is she could meet with the manager while wearing her beautiful smile. The lady smiled back at her and directed her to the managers office. The lady who will soon be her colleague told her she has been expecting her and introduced herself as Vivian.

At the managers office, Listra was happy to see a cozy air conditioned office with good furniture and designs that seem to be imported. She was offered sit and she thanked him softly. The manager by name Mr Rassy is a tall man about 7 inches with tooth that was sliced a little at the front. He smiled broadly at Listra encouraging her to relax. He asked he about her personal details which he recorded in her file and then directed her to her immediate supervisor who will be working with. The rest of the day went by with Listra greeting employee from pillar to post and also trying to get familiar with the environment. She was also taken her corner where other colleagues are also occupying different spot. Listra is not one to be worried about blending with others and she easily adjusted.
