Valerie's POV
I had just finished checking on Carrie and Amara for the hundredth time. I was stepping out of Carrie's room, when someone I didn't expect approached me- Frederic.
"Hey."
I smiled at him. "Hi."
He seemed to be struggling to find the words to say to me, but eventually he sighed and spoke up. "I wanted to talk to you."
I could not help my surprise. He would rather stay in his room all day than talk to anyone, not even his brothers. "Oh, what do you want to talk to me about?"
He looked around nervously. "Can we talk about this privately? Maybe take a walk or something."
"Or we can use my office." I offered, and he nodded.
Klaus had given me the Luna office, but I wasn't using it yet, until I officially become Luna.
