Valerie's POV
I could almost not believe that I allowed Klaus to have s*x with me after all that had happened. I didn't regret it though, as he looked a lot calmer than when he first came in. As much as I wanted us to maintain our bubble, I knew that we needed to discuss what happened.
I lay on the bed as I watched him dress up.
"I probably tired you off. You should be sleeping." He murmured, and I looked at him in disbelief.
"You are the one that is just coming back from a battle with rogues, yet I am the one that needs to sleep?"
"You were up all night."
"I was up doing nothing, you were up fighting. Now stop looking for more reasons to be so strong and just join me in bed."
