I didn't change out of my pyjamas as I followed Lisa out to where Marcel was detained. My heart was beating so fast, as anger coursed through my whole body.
It was Gamma Reuben who held him captive at the old training center, and I wanted to break all the bones in his body for daring to lay a finger on my mate. Lisa kept saying words about how it wasn't his fault, and I should listen to him first, but I could not think straight right now.
Lisa drove me to the center, and the moment I stepped out of her car, I angrily stormed in with her running after me. But I didn't need to enter the building before I met Reuben. He probably got a mindlink from his mate and he came out here to meet me.
