Valerie's POV
The next morning, Gamma Damien offered to drive me to my new job. The Alpha and the Beta were very busy this morning, so the Gamma decided to. Beta Jamie tried to discourage him, and said that Mario could take me instead, and I wondered why. Gamma Damien insisted though.
The Gamma smiled at me as I walked to the car.
"Good morning, Valerie. How are you doing? I hope the Alpha isn't giving you a hard time." He asked, flashing me a warm smile as I approached the car.
I shook my head. "He has no choice but to be good to me." I said, and his eyes widened slightly, before he laughed. I knew that he was surprised to hear that from me. I even surprised myself too.
"I have always known that you've got some spunk in you."
