The CEO

Ethan parked his car on his own designated parking, why wouldn't he have that he's the CEO he can do anything he wants whenever he wants to, getting out of his car and heading straight inside the company to be greeted by 'Good Morning Sir' of each employees and walking inside the elevator to go to the top floor where his big office is located. "Good Morning Sir Ethan" greeted by his assistant Carmen, "I have put in your table the files you asked me yesterday, and I already sent you Sir the schedules of the meeting we're having today" Carmen continued before his boss walks in inside his office, "I'll be calling you before the meetings starts" she added "Thank you" Ethan replied as he went inside his office.

The office is consisted of a big desk right in the middle with big windows at the back to see the down the streets, two chairs in front of the desk, big computer screens on the side, a couch with a small coffee table, shelves with a lot of merch of his games.

Sitting down and looking through his files, Ethan thought about how the new game that he has been working will go out and sell, how to promote since the game has a new theme than the other once he created, the game aims for the user to think of adventure, fun and all over the place. 

While reviewing the files his phone ringed, checking who was calling before picking up and answering the call but it was an unknown number, 'Hello Ethan, Where are you?'  the caller said and continuing with 'I miss you' , Ethan replied with "I thought I told you to never call me again?" with an annoyed tone, 'Hey that's not how you greet your baby' said the voice on the phone.

"Where are nothing Jack, what do you want I'm busy" Ethan said having no time to have little chats with people that doesn't include in his work right now, 'I will be there in a week, we can have fun like we usually do' the caller said, Jack, with a flirty voice, "I don't have time with you right now, go find someone else to have fun with" Ethan said before hanging up annoyed. 

Ethan had known of Jack during one of his fathers birthday celebration, where his parents had invited all their friends and people they work with, with that including Jacks parents as they have been a long time family friends of Ethan's father. The first time they met Jack has already set his eyes on Ethan and tried to get close with him, though Ethan wasn't really interested in Jack at first but what a waste if he didn't try him right? 

Since then they usually meet up or when the other person is in the same city as the other one to have their 'fun' which really is them f--king. That doesn't stop Ethan from seeing other people though, they but see other people but go to each other when bored. Jack had been in a couple of relationships but it doesn't last because either he gets bored or he gets caught sleeping with Ethan. Ethan on the other hand doesn't like relationships, never had a serious one always been a one night stand or something caused by boredom.

Ethan doesn’t like falling. He doesn’t like falling, in every sense of the word. He doesn’t like falling asleep. The world is wide and wild — he doesn’t wanna miss a thing. He wants to see and experience everything. 

He doesn’t like falling in love. It’s too complicated and he knows what it does to people — it makes them weak, go crazy and sometimes loose themselves just because of that 'love'.

He doesn’t like falling — the literal kind. Heights make his stomach churn, he's afraid of it, the fear of imminent death or physical hurt cloud his mind. Even just looking out of his company's glass window takes a lot of courage for him to do, well at night not really since he can't see anything but lights.

Yeah he doesn't like falling.
