The sun's rays shining through the small opening of the curtains managed to get me up. I stared ahead of me, missing the familiar scent of my usual bed. I groaned as I pulled the pillow over my head. I didn't have the energy to do the trip today. I had to head up to Alaska to meet a vampire named Corry. Derek told me about him and said that he had news of a werewolf couple coming over to Garnetmoon to ask help from the Alpha and the Luna regarding their daughter. I was supposed to meet Corry in two days. I decided to rather get up and out of bed, mentally trying to prepare myself for the eight hour drive I had to endure today.
