I laid there in bed, thinking about the entire situation with Domonique. I knew I trusted her with all of my heart. I knew she would never do anything to hurt me, but ... how the hell could she be there in an unfamiliar place, not knowing anything but she was trusting a vampire. The whole situation didn't sit right with me at all. After the entire Mistress situation that happened last year, I didn't trust any vampires at all. I knew Derick was a trusted friend of Jennifer and I knew he would never do anything to put Domonique in danger, it was the others that I didn't trust,
