Lin Wan Er and Gu Ting Shen's Love Story

Beginning in the Workplace

Lin Wan'er stood in front of the main entrance of the Gu Group building and looked at the skyscraper, her heart filled with excitement and anticipation. The sunlight poured on the building's glass curtain wall, reflecting a dazzling light, just like her mood at this moment, bright and full of hope.

She took a deep breath, gathered her courage, pushed open the revolving door, and walked into the spacious and bright lobby. As soon as the elevator doors opened, she stepped in, silently chanting in her mind, “A new beginning, a new challenge.”

Lin Wan Er's first day on the job was full of freshness. She completed the entry procedures in the human resources department and received her employee card and office supplies. The receptionist handed her a map of the company and said with a smile, “I wish you a wonderful start at Gu Group.”

She found her workstation, surrounded by neat rows of desks. Her coworkers greeted her warmly, and she felt the warmth and support of the team.

Lin Wan Er received her first assignment - to prepare a market research report for a project that was about to start. She carefully researched the background of the project, collected relevant information and started writing the report.

During lunch time, Lin Wan'er went to the company's cafeteria with a few colleagues. They sat around and chatted while eating. Lin Wan'er shared her own learning and working experience, while listening to the stories of her colleagues.

“Wan Er, how's your report coming along?” Colleague Xiao Li asked.

“Still collecting data, but I think it's quite interesting.” Lin Wan'er replied with a smile.

In the afternoon, Lin Wan'er encountered some difficulties in the process of writing her report. Instead of giving up, she actively sought help. She asked experienced colleagues for advice, checked the company's internal database, and finally found a way to solve the problem.

As the end of the workday approached, Lin Waner realized that she could not finish the report within the specified time. She decided to work overtime to ensure the quality of the report. She knew that this was her chance to show her professional ability and work ethic.

While working overtime, Lin Wan Er bumped into Gu Ting Shen in the pantry. He recognized her efforts and encouraged her to keep working hard. This brief exchange made Lin Wan Er feel greatly encouraged.

Gu Ting Shen smiled and said, “Wan Er, I've read the first draft of your report, it's very insightful. Don't worry about time, quality is more important.”

Lin Wan Er nodded gratefully, “Thank you Mr. Gu, I'll try my best to do my best.”

Lin Wan Er was on her way home, looking at the flickering lights outside the window, her heart filled with emotions. She recalled the bits and pieces of the day and felt both satisfied and fulfilled. She knew that this was just the beginning, and that she would be starting a whole new journey in the Gu Group.

Lin Wan Er lay on her bed, recalling every detail of today. She felt that she had taken the first step in her career, and although she had stumbled a bit, she believed that as long as she maintained her enthusiasm and courage, she would be able to overcome any difficulties.

She closed her eyes, and in her mind she mumbled, “Tomorrow is a new day, and I'm going to work even harder.”
