ISADORA Easier said than done. There's like a foot of space between us but I'm acutely aware of every inch. I'm trying to keep my breathing steady so I don't end up looking as nervous as I feel, but it's hard work. This feels worse than just winging it when we get there. Knox clears his throat. "Still want to do this?" he asks in a low voice. "Yes," I say a little too quickly. He nods and inches closer to me so his knee is touching mine. Shivers race down my spine but I ignore them. He shifts his weight to face me and I do the same. Now, we're eye to eye. "There's nothing complicated about it." I swallow. "Right." "You don't really have to think about it," he adds in a much lower voice. "Kisses start before they start. I don't know if that makes sense." "It doesn't." A huff
