ISADORA My heart is racing as I step away from the mirror in the communal bathroom and inspect my reflection. My lips are deep red and glossy, and my eyes are smoky. Mom had a side gig as a makeup artist for the longest time, so I learned everything from her. Granted, I don't feel the need to use makeup most days, but there are occasions where it's a must, and this is one of them. The shimmery, open-back dress I'm wearing is skin-tight, the heels on my feet are sparkly, too. The dress has a neckline that hints at cleavage without really showing it.
