Mystery Mate Part Two

        " I could sense something was up with you like a mile a way so spill before I have to pry it out of you"  Caroline said to me. I sigh because I know that if I actually didn't tell her she would  literally make me tell her. Her ability or should I say abilities thanks to me turning her  she has similar powers to mine except I have more and I'm not just any vampire I'm a hybrid one of the most rarest supernatural beings. As is she, but shes a half witch half vampire. I'ma half vampire half eternal far which means I could either be the strongest good fae, or the strongest evil fae. Being fae one of the main powers is to make almost any supernatural being tell you what they want to hear the only other strongest supernatural are vampires.I hear her clear her throat and say " For real Izzie I don't want to, because we are best friends, but I will if you won't tell me. I don't like to be left out." I sigh again and say the four words I didn't expect to say, "I found my mate. There it's out are you happy."  I say kind of rudely.    I instantly regret it, because after I said it our office fills with a loud shriek . I look up and glare at her and she instantly stops. " I don't see why you're being suck a negative Nancy about all of this, you should be excited about it. Tell me all about it, how did y'all meet? And do I get to meet the anytime soon?" She starts asking me questions. I shake my head no, and out my hand up to tell her to stop, so I can talk. " Look I just met him, and it wasn't exactly a fascinating meeting ok I already f****d up with meeting him."  I mainly said the last part to myself. See I'm not great with people especially guys after what happened 7 months ago a month right after I was turned something tramatic changed me.  Like don't get me wrong I'm glad I found Caroline when I did without her I feel like I would have gave into the darkness 3 months ago. She looked at me with a look of confusion and asked " what do you mean you already f****d up?"  I looked up and said " simple I haven't fed on blood in a few weeks I was already thirsty and I saw this guy coming out the back entrance of our bar an-.." i didn't get to finish my sentence before she jumped in and said " please do not tell me you pounced on him like a hungry pitbull. Well in your case a Chihuahua."  She said laughing at the joke she made.I glared at her then said "  hey shut the hell up not all of us are blessed with long giraffe legs like you  hooker." Then I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest. See we may be connected through the turning bond but that's it we look different the only thing we share just a little bit is are eyes. Thanks to me she has violet eyes as well the only time we don't share them is when we are pissed off. Her go from violet to red while mine go dark blue or even black.  While she stood at 5'6 with her Carmel skinned  tone I was 5'2 pale complected. We both had banging bodies she was a double d cup, curvy with a toned stomach. I was a d cup with my share of curves and toned stomach as well. She started laughing at me and said " you need to chill I was just playing around ok. I was trying to lighten up your sour mood  look I'm sure you messed it up this one time, but you can fix it you are always able to fix problems even if you created them chica."  So with her advice I took off to where the encounter happened.  When I got to the alleyway I almost have up hope when I smelt it. Instantly the same three words popped in my head. Mate. Protect. Need. He was close by I hid my sent and  threw up my jacket hood and started walking towards the main road. I followed his sent and it led directly towards the entrance of Caroline and my club.  I saw him instantly only he wasn't alone he was with a group of guys they all looked to be at least 6 ft if not taller. I started walking towards the line of the club when I heard the end of there conversation.  "... Yeah it was kind of hot how she bit me but when she left it hurt like I felt the lull instantly. I just can't believe I'm mated to a leech." I froze instantly that hurt the way he said it was as if he was disgusted untill I heard the next part." I mean I just want to find her to get some answers after all she is my mate but if she's like the others I met I'm going to reject her. Plus I doubt she can handle being mated to the strongest alpha in Texas." I can not believe the way he was acting all cocky saying I wouldn't be able to handle him more like him be able to handle me. Hell most people would love to get their filthy hands on me since I'm half fae just to use me for my powers. But if they also knew I was the first act hybrid fae I would always have to be on the run. I was hurt and when I looked up what I saw made me see red. There 10 feet from me was my mate with a slut throwing herself on him I was ready to do something anything but I was teleported out of there in a second thanks to Caroline.  " What the hell is wrong with you , she was  all over him I could have had her if you wouldn't have interrupted."  I half yelled at her and all she did was raise an already perfect arched eyebrow at me. " Are you done with your little fit, because the way I see it if you would have done that you would have proven to him you're just like the rest of the vampires kill without questioning." She said and then it dawned on me she saved me from not messing up a second time. I sighed then suddenly I had an idea. " Hey Carebare want to go downstairs to our club and have a few drinks?" She knows I'm up to know good but agrees with me, we we quickly go to the closet we have in our office and find us some sexy dresses to put on. I found a black mini dress with a sweetheart neckline that hugs my curves but flows out at the bottom which is just above my knees. I put in some black fishnets and finish the outfit off with some black stilleto boots. I let my dirty blonde hair down out of my messy bun and it falls just above my butt. I smile at myself in the mirror then I turn around and gasp. Caroline chose the  hot pink min dress that hugged her like a second skin with some black fishnets and stilleto pumps she was finishing putting her brown hair up into a mess bun when she turned around as well . " Girl you look like a heartbreak waiting to happen shall we go tease the men on what they can't have?" I ask her and she shakes her head and says " let's go get our drink on". We giggled and locked our office and did just that.  As we were walking down the stairs we felt eyes on us . It didn't help our favorite dj Kevin turned on one of our favorite songs Don't stop the music by Rihanna we were greeted by one of our waitresses who always knew what we liked. She had a trey full of  vodka shots and we both downed four before walking towards the bar. " Aye yo Myka" I called our other friend whose also our employed bartender I was just about to order our drinks when he slid two shots our way and said " yes boss I know vodka shots and keep them coming " he said with a wink then went to the other customers. See when opened the club him and Kevin we're our first two employees we hired Kevin was a short Mexican about 5'3 but he had a rocking body. Caroline tried to get his number but he sadly declined she thought it was because she was too tall, but we soon found out him and Myka were together then it all made since. Myka was a yellowbone he's mixed between white and black standing at 5'6   with a good looking body as well. He had light brown hair and eyes. I also found out that they were both witches from the same clan Caroline came from  we all four just clicked and have been friends for like four months now. I smiled at him and kept drinking the shots till I had a small buzz going which for us we had to drink the 99.9% since we were vampires when we hit the dance floor. We kept touching and gliding our hands down one another to outsiders we looked like a couple but we didn't care we were having fun. I just twirled her around when I smelt it again. He smelt like the ocean mixed a pine like smell. I leaned in and said " he's here somewhere I can smell him." Thankfully the music was up hella loud or he would have heard me. She gave me a nudge and said " good luck kitten and be nice." I laughed and then I was on the hunt.   I went back to the bar to get some more shots so I could have enough courage to figure out what to say to mystery mate. What does one say to their mate after meeting them in an alley way and drinking their blood? Hi my name is Elizabeth I'm your mate sorry I drank from you see I haven't fed I'm usually not so reckless. Yeah that would go all fine and dandy she thinks sarcastically. As I was about to down my 12th shot some asshat bumped into me spilling it on my dress lucky it was black but now I'm wipping at my boobs. I turn to see who did it when I'm met with the ocean smell again. I look up and see a pair of dark blue eyes staring down into mine and he says the word that's already been in my head twice tonight " Mate."  I was still staring at him when Myka came around the bar and asked " is everything ok over her Izzie?" I shake my head look at him and say " everything is fine Myka why don't you go pour us some shots since this one owes me a drink" I say with a wink at Myka. As he's walking away I look back at mystery mate and ask "  can I at least get the name of the guy who spills my drink on me?" He smirks at me and says " My name is  Erick and I apologise for spilling your drink like you said I owe you another, but after we finish the drink can we go somewhere more private to talk?" I arch my eyebrow at him and say " we can drink and talk at the same time no need to go somewhere more as you said private." As I said that I turned back towards the bar just as Myka was putting our drinks on the bar. He say the treat full of shots down I was about to take one when I heard Erick say lowly to me " look I just want to talk to you and get to know you it's not everyday a wolves mate attacks him" I am shocked by what he says and was about to tell him he could go to hell when Caroline decides to make an appearance and says " we love it if you join us in the VIP room only select few get to go and it would be a lot more private." She was mainly hinting that if I lose my s**t no one else would see so I agreed only because she was going to be there to help if the situation escalated sow we all three walked with a trey full of shots towards the VIP room upstairs.  I tookmy try and sat down in the booth while the other two followed behind Caroline was the last one and she locked the door so no one would come in. Erick decided to sit in front of me while Caroline sat beside me. I took three shots before I finally broke the silence and said " look I didn't try and feed on you  I usually go for the lowlifes like rapists or robbers or something but I haven't fed in almost a month and you were bleeding. I'm sorry." I finish and he's just staring at me like he's trying to figure me out. Or to see if like the other leeches as he said so he could reject me but little did he know I wouldn't go down without a fight that's for sure. " Is that what you call an apology or are you always this subtle I mean I give you props for not going after the innocent  but killing people isn't always the answer.." I cut him off and said " I never said I killed I said I usually feed off of them but I never kill. If anything I drink and then stop if I'm still hungry I have a supply of blood bags I get from the local blood banks yes I pay for them I don't steal either so anything else you want to assume?" I finish then take a couple more shots  to help calm the anger that's building up. Caroline places an arm on me and uses our bond to talk to me in my mind and says " give him a chance he probably never met a vampire who doesn't kill" I sigh and link back to her and say " I'm trying he just rubbs me the wrong way assuming s**t you know." I hear her giggle in my head then she says " give him a chance so he can rubbs you in the right way" I gasp out loud and look her her. Dirty b***h . Erick looks at us that's when I notice he looks back and forth then asks " did she turn you by force or willingly?" I growled at him when he asks her suck a bizarre question I was about to tell him f**k off when she answered " it was a life or death situation and I was willing to live even if it meant being a vampire, but I still have my witch abilities so don't judge a book by its cover." He shakes his head agreeing with her and then looks at me and says " my apologies most le- I mean vampires aren't as kind as you minus you little attack. Can we just start this whole thing over?" It took me a minute but I nodded my head in agreement and he continued, " My name is Erick I am the alpha of the Houston, Texas pack and I will gladly accept you as my mate if you would accept me." I sighed after taking my last three shots then looked at him. Like really looked at him wondering if I I could let someone else into my life. I decided right then and there that nothing is going to keep me from him especially my fear of getting hurt so I said " I want to make things clear you hurt me or make me question your trust I will gladly make you pay. I however want to take this whole mate thing slow by starting to get to know one another before it escalates." Hey nodded his head and said " very well  how about lunch tomorrow at Denny's down the road, say about 2pm?" I accepted and with that we all three stood up and he left but not before turning and smiling at me one last time then left. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding and shook my head while Caroline nudged my shoulder. " Well that went good I thought for sure you were goin to hurt him , but you hesitated and I have never seen you hesitate at anything" she finishes while she sounds  shocked I just shrugged and decided to call it a night. I gave her a hug and snapped my fingers. In an instant I'm wearing black tights with a hoodie I didn't bother with a shirt under it since I'm goin straight to bed. To top it off I added my favorite pair of black combat boots. I excited the side door and got on my Suzuki Hayabusa that was all black and took off to my apartment. As soon as I got there I teleported to my room and I was out like a light
