Ria left the shop followed by the men it was funny she normally didn’t show emotion to anyone but with Bill it had always been different she could always show her true self she could drop her guard but this other guy there was just something about him that bothered her that made her feel flustered she couldn’t put her finger on it .

If she didn’t know better she say it was attraction .

No one ever got under her skin she didn’t believe in romance never had she seen her mother bring home to many jerks for that men were for one thing s*x , to scratch an itch that was it .

She jumped on her bike the Red Ducati was today’s bike of choice she had many she had collected over time .

She then called back to Bill “ I assume you have transport “ he nodded pointing to a black truck.

“Follow me “she said

The men climbed in the truck Bill drove .

Eric looked at Bill and he began to follow .

“ So how the hell you know this girl “ Eric said

Bill laughed “ I use to arrest her a lot “

Eric gave him a shocked look .

Bill laughed again “ she wasn’t a bad kid her mum use to shag about for drugs and money god knows who her father was , some of the men use to pay the mother for s*x with the kid well until she was bigger enough to say no then she started hitting back that’s when I met her I arrested her for assault but I just knew there was more to it I took time to get to know her eventually she opened up about her life .

She was very damaged but she had a good heart .

He shook his head no kid should ever experience what she did I never thought I see her again “.

Eric shook his head in response and put his hand on his chest for a moment thinking about the scars under his shirt ,he himself had suffered at his fathers hand and been labelled trouble until the apocalypse and he met Bill it was then he learnt to truly trust someone .

It hadn’t been easy but they got there .

They drove for only a couple of miles what seemed like quite a straight road then after a few final bends they turned a corner to see a large wall approaching “ looks like a prison “ Eric commented .

Bill nodded curious about where Ria was taking them.

The brick walls were a good 30 foot tall all around with wire on the top it had people with weapons guarding the corners at the front they was approaching two big wooden doors as Ria beeped the guard at the front waved and the doors flung open she rode through the gates into the compounds yard followed by Eric and Bill.
