They left the sheriffs officer and Gordon showed them the various areas the houses people shared , the bar area which people could eat , the farm where crops were grown , the fresh water supply, the hospital and they met the doctor who was a bit full on more with Bill than Eric much to Eric’s relief as she was very touchy feely and Eric couldn’t put up with that and after the main tour he took them to see the wall.

Bill was busy chatting amazed about what normality Ria had created in a crazy world but Eric just couldn’t stop thinking about Ria “ what is wrong with me ?“ he thought shaking his head trying to shake away his thoughts .

They climbed the top of the wall and sure enough there she was and standing next to her was another guy he was dark haired very good looking , muscular build and clean shaven which for an apocalypse is amazing Eric thought .

He was standing very close to her Eric noted and this annoyed him more than he would of liked and she was laughing and her and the muscly guy were playfully nudging each other .

They both looked up at the approaching foot steps .

“ Hey “Ria said acknowledging them all .

“ we have done the tour “ Gordon said.

Bill shook his head in acknowledgment “ what you have done here is amazing “

“Wasnt all me “ Ria said “ I did have help “ she gestured to the others including the hunk standing next to her .

Eric found himself staring at him and the guy had now dropped the smile and was glaring back at him .

Picking up on the tension Gordon introduced them “ Bill Eric this is Dylan he helps Ria with the compounds defence “ with this Dylan relaxed a little and politely acknowledged the men .

Suddenly an alarm sounded and everyone started rushing about .

“ what’s going on ?“ bill asked . “ A breach of the wall “ Gordon answered looking concerned .

Suddenly Ria jumped into action she took off her glasses and gave them to Dylan , she tied her hair back and approached the wall .

Bill grabbed her arm “ what are you doing ?”

Ria grinned back “ what I do best killing things “ with that she started a decent down the wall .
