Chapter Three: Paradox Theory

“So in theory all that we know now is tied to some key events in the past. So altering random points in time only make small ripples but nothing major. To cause a major change you’d have to alter one of those key events, but those are also the most protected points in time with a special task force of hunters who make sure that no mater what those event always happen.” explained Luna “Thus our theory is that if we find a hereditary link between a key event and the hunters which protect it. We then go to that link that is before the key event and cut the link.”         “Then in theory we’re are able to eliminate the key event and it’s protectors in one swift motion. The only thing left to do is find a key event and do the research.” added James with a smile as he topped off both of our drinks.         “Wouldn’t the best option be the rise of the five empires?” I ask half knowing the answer already.         “No one really knows when the empires began to rise. Some say it was only in the last three-hundred years while others say that it dates all of the way back to the 2020 US elections. But in truth no one really know nor can we. It’s almost as if they just popped out of no were one morning and thus the world as we know it.” explained Luna with a smile.         “That is without your help Mr. Xavier.” called a young twelve year old with black hair and green eyes in blue jeans and a black t-shirt as he slowly walked from the center of the room. But how was that possible there was no one there only moments before.         “I see you’ve chosen to join us little brother.” teased Luna as she turned to face him with a smile.         “And I see you’re being all cryptic with your cloak and shadowy appearance.” teased the boy with a grin as he approached the three of us.         “Well if you must know it’s cool in here and not to mention I’m wearing a special outfit underneath that I really didn’t want to embarrass Mr. Xavier with and is for a date later on tonight.” snapped Luna which sparked my interest a bit.         “You a date? Has the guy actually met you or have you decided to try your luck with the girls?” teased the boy with a grin.         “You little...” started Luna before I stepped between then a interrupted her.         “You must be Emanuel. It’s good to meet you.” I interrupted while holding out my hand.         “Yes, and he should know better then to joke about same s*x mating since it is one of the few things that is still punishable by death.” replied James as the boy shook my hand.         “Oh who’s going to say something? The robots dancing in the windows?” teased Emanuel with a raised eyebrow. “Beside I only came up here to see if Mr. Xavier actual came and now that I’ve seen that he’s here we have a great deal of things to discuss.”         “Don’t get me wrong but I’m not really sure what more there is to discuss.” I replied as I look around, “Your plan is to send someone back in time to a point were they are able to kill someone that would both eliminate the guardian of a key event as well as stop the key event. Did I miss anything?”         “Well, no but I do need to speak with you about something in private.” replied Emanuel as he motioned for me to follow him to the other side of the room.         “What could be so important that I need to know but not your too older siblings?” I asked once I reached the other side of the room and was standing next to him.         “Unlike them I’ve studied out my family’s lineage. They know the part of how many of our ancestors were behind many of the rebellions through the history of the five empires, but what they don’t know and what you’re research will uncover is that our family is also tied to at least five of the key event guardians.” softly explained Emanuel so as that I was the only one to hear.         “Thus if we pick the wrong event not only would alter history for the better but it would also remove you and your family.” I added with a sigh. “I figured that would be a risk we’d have to consider. Do you have a list of the key events that are protected by your ancestors?”         “No. Like I said I’ve only looked into it. I’m not as skilled as you are and that’s also why when it comes to going back in time the only person who can go.”         “But I don’t want to kill anyone.” I reply boldly and almost load enough for the others to hear me.         “Then how exactly do you plan on stopping this world of our from being able to come to if you don’t kill someone!” snapped Emanuel this time getting the attention of the others.         “Well, not by killing anyone! How can you call this a Love Paradox yet all you can focus on is killing?” I yell as I start to walk away right towards the door. “Maybe you should think of retitling it the Hate Paradox!”         “Mr. Xavier please wait!” called Luna as she got off her seat to chase after me loosing her black cloak revealing her outfit underneath.         She was wearing a red furry bikini with gold plated frame with a ruby inlaid in the n*****s of the bra and the v****a of the panties. She also had red furry elbow length gloves and knee high boots. Both James and Emanuel blushed while I well I froze in place too umm you know. Red cheeked and even getting a little hard below the belt.
