Chapter Four: A Wild Idea

So I stood there with my heart beating almost out of my chest and my p***s trying to jump out of my pants. Man was she even more sexy then I’d originally thought. This was only making things harder for me to focus and concentrate.         “Please give us a chance.” pleaded Luna as she took my hand, “Help us with the research and then either me or James could travel through time and do the killing.”         “No.” I replied as I shook my head to clear the sensual thoughts that where floating around within it. “It would be the same as if I was doing the killing and I wont have a part in such matters under the pretext of love. To do so would make us no better then the empires themselves.”         “I see then how would you go about it?” sighed Luna as she let go of my hand before asking, “What would you have us do?”         “If you are to do this under the pretext of love and do it correctly then why not use your time travel device to alter the key events by converting the hate that cussed them into love. Yes it’s a lot harder then just killing someone but depending on which key event you attempt to alter by just killing one person you may end up erasing yourselves along the line. Trees don’t just have one or two branches after all.” I explain as I find myself walking back towards the bar.         “What if you went back in time to an event of great hate and instead of killing off the ancestor of some hate crime. Let’s us homosexuality as an example. Say you went back before the first gay purge of 2300 and seduced the leaders of the purge a young age into some gay s*x. Then continued it over time until the event.” I added as I once more find a seat at the bar.         “One I’m not having gay s*x with anyone.” replied Emanuel as he and Luna joined me at the bar, “And second that could alter things too far. It could cause the purge to become a straight person purge thus ending reproduction and the human race.”         “Then give them both.” I sigh as I look at each of them equally before stopping at luna and with the most compassionate of looks added, “It was just one example of a million. The point is instead of trying to kill off our foe why not alter the past with little ripples. Yes it will take more time and we might end up too old to really enjoy the future we created but in the end we’ve made a better home for the next generation.”         “Then help us.” pleaded Luna once more taking my hands in hers.         “Only if we do this right and no one gets killed on purpose.” I sigh knowing that sometimes accidents do happen and are unpreventable.         “I can promise to try your way as long as you give us a backup plan. A name that we can use in the event that it doesn’t work and were at our end.” replied Luna with a heartwarming look on her face, which is all that I can look at on her and remain focused.         “As long as you allow me to keep the name under lock and key and I’m the one who gets to choose when my way is a failure and not any of you.” I instruct before finishing off my drink and standing from my seat.         “You don’t under stand we just don’t have that kind of...” started Emanuel only for me to cut him off.         “Time!” I snappingly interrupt, “Your whole plan revolves around time. I could literally go back in time and station myself on some mountain top while I figure out a plan and then return to five minutes from now. So time is the one thing we do have.”         “I’m starting to wish we didn’t choose you. Can I go back in time and alter that decision?” sighed Emanuel as he crossed his arms in a tantrum kind of way.         “No because a smart kid like you would already know that to travel to a time were you already existed would be a whole new kind of paradox that would only end in more chaos and destruction.” I teased before pulling my hands out of Lunas and adding, “So you work on you time device while I decide on and figure out my first minor target. For tomorrow we start creating ripples in time.”         “But the device is already completed. Why can’t you just go now i you already have an idea of where you wish to go and what you plan on doing?” smugly asked Emanuel.         “Because, I’ll need time to make sure it’s all planned out just right.” I replied even though it was mostly because I really didn’t know when I exactly wanted to go and which event I wanted to test my theory out on. It was then that an idea came to me and I remembered an old childhood story that my grandpa would tell me of something long before his time. A story lost to time and long forgotten. A story of hope and suffering. A story of overcoming a hard time and evil ruler with the help of a divine intervention. Maybe this would be a good test but was this a key event? I’d have to go back to when the ruler was a mere child and hope for the best. So with a smile I said, “Fine get me the device and tell me how it works.”
