Chapter Thirty-Four: The Knight

        As they left I approached the wounded knight who was now too weak to crawl away. With one hand on his back holding the base of the arrow shaft and his back with one hand I quickly snapped the arrow shaft before carefully removing the upper part of his armor. Then it’s care I used his near by discarded dagger to slightly open the wound to allow for me to more carefully remove the arrow head before properly dressing the wound.         From there I looked around for some shelter or at least shade for him while I burned the bodies of his fallen comrades and gathered what I could of use from their gear and horses. I then tracked down and found a few hares for me to cook up for dinner. Which was exactly what I was doing when the knight began to stir.         “Ah, you do live I was real
