By the time I finished showering and dressing, Bree was already rolled over and fast asleep again. “Oh, you’re up early.” The elderly woman who runs the Bed & Breakfast smiles warmly as she greets me while I descend the stairs. “Yes, my mum was an extreme morning person. Hate the habit, but love coffee, so I am up.” The older woman chuckles. “I just put on a fresh pot. Would you like some?” She offered. I nod eagerly. I met your daughter, though.” She nods. “Yes, Lori mentioned you coming in after your friend booked your single room. I had to leave for a doctor's appointment.
