I’ve been camping. I’ve been hiking in the deep forests with my mum, but the sounds I hear outside my car are ones I have never heard before.
And that scares me.
Was this why the voice told me not to leave the safety of my car?
But if that was the case, how would the voice know if I didn't?
I was confused, scared, I needed to pee, and Bree ate all my freaking snacks. I’m starving!
‘Don’t forget whiny!’ The voice huffed in irritation.
“You’re not helping!” I rolled my eyes and frantically focused on the approaching sounds of what sounded like footsteps in the nearby treeline.
Something was out there. It was close. And it was watching me.
“What do you think it is?” I asked the voice.
