After overhearing Bree on the phone with Liam, conspiring, it took everything in me not to rush out and confront her, but thankfully, Wolf stopped me.
If I rushed out there, it would not only create unnecessary drama but also allow Bree to manipulate and twist things around. She was right, I was a people pleaser, and I couldn’t risk her managing to pull the heartstrings.
Instead, after Wolf closed the door of his office, he spent time calming me and helping me refocus on a much more effective plan. We then started working together on a plan that would exploit the approach Bree would take anyway.
We knew what she was planning. The room booking ended on Friday, this morning, so why not let Bree think I was leaving?
