RIO After Bree and I had breakfast, again, inside the bedroom because Bree was apparently trying out for the shut-in of the year, I managed to drag her outside for the walk around town that she promised me earlier. I haven’t brought the subject up about being able to extend our stay just yet, as my head was still lingering on what Mel told me. Part of me wanted to believe that it was a simple misunderstanding, but I suspect it wasn’t. Not completely, anyway. I think Bree understood that more rooms would become available, and I believe Bree also knew that they weren't overbooked, but used the idea that traffic might spike as an opportunity to keep us moving along and not staying in this town for long.
