CHAPTER 32 NOT ONLY WAS there a silver and black helicopter settling onto the lawn, but Nick was sitting in the pilot’s seat. Next thing I knew, he’d be donning his underwear on the outside of his freaking pants. “Did you pack Nick’s cape?” I muttered to Bradley. “Huh?” Two minutes later, Nick strode into the hallway and eyed up the luggage. “Bradley, you know we’re going away for four days, right?” The smaller man scratched his chin. “You’re right. Maybe I should have packed more.” “No!” Nick and I shouted at the exact same time. “I’m sure we can manage with what we’ve got,” I added hastily. “Thank you for all your help.” The cases took up the entire rear cabin of the helicopter, and the door only just closed.
