The following Friday night put paid to Burke and Reynaud’s plans for Sunday evening, much to Reynaud’s dismay. He’d looked forward with anticipation to being with Burke. Perhaps he would hold him, not just his hand, as they talked about the past week, or watched a movie, or even read together. And at the end of the night, before I leave, I’ll kiss him.
