No matter how many times Jack tried to contact Tyler, he was ignored. He pretty much figured that Tyler had blocked Jack’s number on his phone after the first few times he’d tried.
Jack had even gone by the diner, but Tyler’s Aunt Ruby had refused to allow him inside. He’d thought about staying in the parking lot to wait to see Tyler, but Ruby had apparently hired a thug—okay, security guard—to protect her nephew because one stood in the parking lot every time Jack came to check after his first attempt.
He’d gone to see the play three more times but had left after each performance. If Jack jeopardized Tyler’s acting career in any way he knew Tyler would never forgive him. He wasn’t sure Tyler would forgive him now, but f*****g up his acting career, Jack knew for sure, would be
