Chapter 9Pitch picked a table close to the group of dominants. If he and Lyra stayed in this town, the first thing he’d install in their apartment was a phone. If he could’ve called her now, she’d get here, and they’d been two against nine. Why would a group of alphas come to a bakery early in the morning? Why come as a group?
