Sister's Sacrifice

Chapter 18

As the first rays appear, the world seems to awaken.Birds begin their morning songs,trees shimmer with dew, and the earth glows beneath the tender light.Shadows retreat, and what was once hidden in darkness becomes clear and alive. The sun rises steadily,not in haste.

Daniel and Ella grew quickly into their roles as parents and are co-parenting as an engaged couple. Daniel gazes at Ella as she comes out of her closet putting on a dangling, shimmering pink dress. He hugged her tight and whispered into her ear"You're so beautiful, choosing you was the best decision I've ever made".

Ella replied with a smile, falling in love with you was the best decision I've ever made because life has been easier and better with you by my side.

They both take a look at the baby in the bassinet.she is so beautiful, Daniel said.

The baby was dressed in a soft, pastel pink cotton dress with short,puffed sleeves and a gently gathered skirt that flares slightly.The neckline has a tiny lace trim for a delicate touch and the front features a small, embroidered flower for decoration. A matching headband with a tiny bow was worn around her head and a little pink shoe was worn on her feet to complete the adorable outfit.

Daniel was also dressed in a pink two-piece suit made from smooth, lightweight wool. The blazer is tailored with a slim fit,featuring a notched lapel,two front buttons near the cuffs, and the jacket includes two flap pockets at the hips.

The trousers are straight -cut with a flat front,a comfortable waistband and a slight break at the shoes.The suit is paired with a crisp white dress shirt,a silk tie in a subtle pattern and polished black leather dress shoes.

Daniel stretched his left hand forward to Ella with the baby in his right hand asking if they can now head to the photo studio.

Ella smiled,with her fingers crossing Daniel's fingers as she said,Yes we can,My king.

The ride to the photo studio was a little bit long but at last they got to the photo studio. Mamacita and Anita have been waiting for Daniel,Ella and the cute little baby.The photo session began and the photographer made out cute pictures of the newborn and her parents in the studio.

After the photo session, everybody returned home but Anita and Mamacita stopped at the mall to get somethings that will be used at the baby's naming ceremony.Anita and Mamacita hasn't spent five minutes at the mall yet,a cute,tall, dark skinned guy with full pink lips and a stud earrings in his ears walked up to Anita.

Hey,my name is Emmanuel,he said.Anita responded with a faint smile,My name is Anita and beside me is my sister,Mamacita.

Emmanuel greeted Mamacita politely and Mamacita also responded politely.

Anita,please can I get your contact.Anita responded very fast saying NO.He tried to ask Anita why she didn't give him his contact but Anita did not give him a listening ear.

Why did you refuse to give that young man your contact, Mamacita asked with a harsh voice.

I can't give him my contact,this is the same place Daniel and I met.

Sister Anita, Mamacita calls out, don't judge the present with your past .

Daniel walked up to you but he wasn't interested in you ,he was interested in your sister. You don't know what this young man has for you,give him a chance.

Well,he's gone ,so I can't give it to him anymore.

As soon as Anita and Mamacita stepped out of the mall, Emmanuel showed up again.

Hey, you haven't left, Mamacita said.

Yes,I haven't, I've been waiting for the both of you, Emmanuel replied.

After so much pressure, Anita finally gave Emmanuel her contact and they began their friendship.

This friendship will definitely lead to a relationship, Mamacita said in a low voice.
