It took Earl more than an hour to return to the palace, the first person he came across was Kodiak.
He stood in the corridor like he had been waiting for him all this while.
"I've not seen you for some hours now, where did you go?" Kodiak questioned him.
He glared at him. "Kindly get out of my way and stop asking silly questions. Why should you be concerned about my whereabouts?"
"I'll tell the king that you leave the palace anytime you want and come back at your own time too." Kodiak stated.
He turned and stared at him. "What's keeping you from doing it?"
"And what the hell is going on here? Earl… you're back." Nykon brought a stop to their quarrel.
"I'm fine Nykon. Have you seen Masha today?"
He nodded. "Check her mistress room, I think she just left to see her now." Nykon replie
