2. I WANT YOU TO QUIT

Mira's Pov

Julio was pissed off as hell but I understood where he was coming from.I don't think anybody would appreciate seeing his girlfriend being disrespected like that.Once he was satisfied that I was clean enough, he helped me put on my dark blue high waist jeans, a white crop top and a leather jacket.I didn't change the boots,then he led me out of the pub.

He opened the door for me and when settled in the passenger seat, he walked around and sat in the drivers seat, started the car and sped off to the pack.Minutes passed by but he hadn't said anything his eyes fixed on the road, I could tell he was thinking about something but I wanted to hear it.

“Julio, I know you are mad but please don't shut me out, talk to me.Let me hear your thoughts baby”I said touching his arm.

“I am not mad at you, I just don't like what happened back there.And the images of that disgusting human touching you just keep flashing back in my mind”he said

“I'm so sorry love, it won't happen again.I will talk to David and I am sure he will ask the bouncers to keep his customers away from me”I said

“And how are you sure it won't happen again”he asked gritting his teeth.

“I just told you what I will do.Are you even listening?”I asked him.

“Mira, I want you to quit.Leave that job, I don't want you wearing all those skimpy outfits and standing in bars to sing ever again”he said.

I couldn't have heard him right.

“You are kidding right, you know how much I love singing and you want me to stop.No Julio that's not gonna happen, I can't sit home and do nothing”I firmly said.

“You have duties at the pack as a gamma female and I have all the money that can get you everything you need now and in the years to come”he said

“No Julio, that's your money, I want to be independent, my parents also have money but I don't want free money, I have to earn it”I told him.

“You want to work then I will talk to Arthur and find you a job at one of the pack businesses may be as a secretary, my assistant or anything you want as long as you don't go back to those places you have been working at”he said

“I don't want any of those jobs Julio, I want to sing and I can't just let my talent go to waste”I said and this time tears were pricking my eyes.It happens to me whenever I argue too much and the person I'm talking to fails to listen.When Julio he heard the change in my voice, he stopped the car.

“Hey cookie, don't cry.I just don't want to see you wearing those close to nothing clothes in the bar and singing for the lushes who see you as a piece of meat.Please try to understand”He said stroking my cheek.

“You have an issue with the clothes too?”I asked

“You are the most beautiful woman I know and you look extremely sexy in those body suits and whenever I see you wearing them, they make me hard and I can tell that happens to the other guys as well.I want you to wear them for me just me my princess”He said leaning in and gave me a kiss.It was slow, gentle and full of passion.

“Just listen to me princess, give it a break as l figure out how to make this work while the both of us benefit from it.But in the mean time you can sing for me, I really love to hear that beautiful voice gorgeous”he said and when I agreed, we continued with our journey home as I sang for him his favorite song.“Te quièro”.

When we reached home, the guys had already eaten their dinner and were all in their rooms.

“So are you in the mood for movies cookie?”Julio asked as we were having pizza on the kitchen Island.

“No not today honey, I'm really exhausted and sleepy right.I feel like I could sleep for a whole week”I sincerely said.I loved singing and all but going to the city, standing at the stage in heels and returning at the pack was surely exhausting.

“Okay then, I guess we will watch them some other time”He said

“Let's go then.I will walk you to your room”He added standing up.I was still staying in the guest room since the day I came to the pack in a wheel chair after the accident I had with Ian and I was so dying to move in with Julio but that would just tempt the both of us so we decided to let things stay the way they are.

“Thanks, I will go take a shower, I need to relax these muscles before I go to bed”I told him once we were in my room.

“Can I join you cutie?”he asked his eyes darkening a little.

“Absolutely not.That will be torture to the both of us”I told him.

“Okay, good night my love,I want you to dream about me”he said giving me a kiss.

“Likewise handsome, I am sure I can do that”I replied.

“Goodnight”He repeated looking at me lustfully.

“Goodnight” I whispered.I too didn't want him to leave.We would always do that till one of us managed to get ourselves in control.

“Goodnight”he said

“Goodnight Julio Greene, leave now”I said a little too loud pulling him out his daze.First of all, I was tired and second, I hadn't brought the pills yet so we weren't having any fun today.I would just surprise him ‘after taking the pills’ when I jump on him in one of these days.

Once Julio left, I went to the bathroom and sank in the warm water.This must be what heaven felt like and after something like thirty minutes, I decided get out.Dried myself, put on my pyjamas and drifted to sleep.

I woke up to the sound coming from my phone,‘I wonder who was calling so early in the morning.Why wouldn't they just let me sleep’.Looking at the screen, there was Camille's funny face.

“What's up girl”I said as soon as I answered

“Are you okay, things didn't go well last night so I wanted to check on you early in the morning to make sure that you are fine”She said looking concerned

“I'm okay honey, thanks for checking on me”I replied getting up from the bed.

“So are we performing tonight at Dinco's bar?”She asked

“You guys can go ahead, my boyfriend kind of got pissed off last night and asked me to take a break.So in the meantime, I am not performing anywhere”I replied

“I must admit too, I hate singing for those lushes but I need money to pay for rent and my little sister's school fees”she said.She had responsibilities at such a young age and here I was arguing with my boyfriend about working in the f*****g bars.I should probably go for a mental check up.

“ You are a great sister, I'm really so proud of you”

“Thanks girl.Oh, I almost forgot, Ian came looking for you so I gave him your new number”She nervously stated

“It's okay, thanks for letting me know”We said our goodbyes and I hung up.

After a chat with Camille, I freshened up and went down to breakfast.The ladies were having breakfast with the little guys.Kara was holding Adrian and Eric who was sitting on the table seemed jealous and was throwing a tantrum.He wanted Adrian off his mommy's lap.

I carried him from the table and tossed him in the air as I caught him whenever he reached my level.Within seconds, he was giggling exposing his toothless gums.He was so cute and when I felt my arms begin to ache, I stopped.

He seemed to have forgotten why he was crying minutes back.I then sat down and focused on my breakfast.

“Kids are really innocent, naive and gullible”Lizzy said

“And adorable”I added

“So, how did it go last night, you guys weren't returning so we went to bed”Kara asked

“It was bad”I replied taking a bite on my hot dog.

“How bad?”Lizzy asked

It filled them in on what happened at the pub and they listened quietly.

“So what do you guys think?”

“Well, I agree with my brother, there is nothing less to expect from a bunch of drunk men who are always at the bar drinking and looking for hot girls to quench their thirsty“Lizzy said

“I don't like men who disrespect women and most of those men are in bars and I don't expect them to stop now and I know that deep down you know your mate is right”Kara said

I know he is right, all of them were but I love singing.I was just going to wait and see what he suggests.

Just then, the guys came in talking about their training and joined us at the table.

Julio's POV

Leaving Mira's room every night was torture but I always wanted to walk her to her room.I was starting to think that the heavens hate me.She was all I ever wanted but I could touch her.Things couldn't become physical until I either found the easiest way or I decided to turn her, I was thinking that the moon goddess was punishing me for all the flirting and the s*x I had with so many girls that I do not even remember.But I would rather see her alive rather than killing her in the process of being turned.

As usual, I went to my bedroom and took a cold bath, I really needed it every time I came from Mira's room.That way, I could sleep comfortably.

At 6:00am, I headed to the training grounds to train with the guys,in a few seconds, Alex and Arthur arrived too but Max and warriors were not around.

“Why is everyone else?”I asked

“We are here”Arthur replied

“Don't bullshit me man, where is Max and the wolves that we train with”I asked again

“When we informed Max about the unknown creature, he asked for permission to take the guys God knows where to train them harder so it's just the three of us today”Alex answered

“So how did it go yesterday at the bar? Did she accept to quit?”Alex asked doing his push up's.

I decided to tell them whatever happened at the bar and the conversation I had with Mira in the car.

“So what do you have in mind, what are you going to do about it?”Arthur asked.

“I don't know yet man, she will have to stay home until I figure it out but I will have to think quick I don't want that to take long like the baby issue.She will grow tired of waiting”I replied

“Or, she can go and sing at Palmers for the guests and we can give her a really nice pay and that problem will be out of your way.No body will behave in appropriately with her.That I assure you and if one of the customers does that, we will ban them from our hotel”Arthur said

“Thanks bro, you are my hero.I talk to her after the training”I said.

These guys were knew when to support, disagree, agree and give me advice on certain issues and I did the same for them.They were real loyal brothers that anyone could have asked for and I was blessed to have them.
