"Yes, I'll be back soon, I promise," Dad says, waking me from my sleep.
"How long will you be gone this time?" Lexi asks.
"A week or two, not sure. Make sure the boys don’t miss their game this Friday, and please don’t stay out too late with your friends," Dad pleads.
"I promise," Lexi replies, and I hear them walk down the stairs.
"Kids, time to get up!" Lexi screams.
Another week at school begins, but I enjoyed my weekend.
On Saturday night, we hung out at Victor's house and watched a movie. Grace kindly dropped me home, and my sister actually kissed her crush on the cheek. Yesterday, I binge-watched two seasons of Teen Wolf.
I get out of bed, stretch, and slip on my slippers.
