“Fine Dans if you want to leave then leave. Hell do I care if you don’t come back!” Conrad slams the door behind him but I pull it open and follow him out.
“Excuse you!” I run downstairs.
“You heard me!” He increases his pace as my blood boils.
“Conrad why can’t you trust me? This is what I need.” I shout as he heads to the dining room.
“Oh let’s see, maybe because you don’t trust me.” He opens the drawer and scrabbles through it, “I told you, begged and pleaded for you to trust me tonight but you pushed me away.”
“Because it’s Natasha—”
“I don’t care!” He slams the drawer close making the China in the cabinet rattle. “I will literally put you on a plane to Japan and then in the same room as that woman, she will tell you that nothing happened!” Spit leaves his mouth.
