My brother and husband are drunk.
I am not sure who’s worse as Caesar hauls them both into the car, but they reek of so much alcohol I wonder if there was any left for the guests to consume.
At least I had a good time tonight, but I am ready to go home. My feet hurt and being sober around Conrad’s family is too much.
“Thank you for the party Kathy,” I hug my mother-in-low as someone puts the gifts into the trunk.
“Your welcome sweetie,” she beams also hopped up on the liquor.
Maybe open bar was a bad idea.
“Your cold baby, here” Conrad drapes his jacket over me which makes his mother smile.
“Thank you,” I shove him back in the car as Mr. Hilton takes his wife back to the house.
“You’re both seriously drunk.” I clip the seatbelt over Conrad’s body.
Kai is passed out
