Chapter 5 :into the underworld

They walked through the doorway squinting from the bright light,then they saw the underworld,it definitely wasn't what Georgia was expecting,it was so ethereal,it looked like it came out of an adventure or fantasy novel.
It was a wide expanse land that seem to go on and on,the sky was the brightest shade of blue,there were trees almost everywhere and some castles here and here, flowers were literally on every corner,adding to the aesthetics,georgia was in awe.
"I didn't expect the underworld to be thisssss beautiful,it's literally like we're in heaven or something,how can there call somewhere like this the underworld,she has this peaceful smile on her face like she was at peace with where she was right now.
Liam regretted that he would have to ruin the mood,but he had no choice,they still had a task at hand,he held her hand.
"Come on,I'll explain to you on the way,we don't have time and you still have two more quests to go"He took her through the flowery path through some kind of gate that stood between the doorway and the underworld.
They went through the gate to the underworld itself which was a beauty itself,there was lots of castles inside,with some smaller houses on the sides,she saw a dragon flying in the sky,there were goblins and even some fairies.(Why is it called the underworld anyways)
"It's called the underworld because it's the place where supernatural beings who have gone against the rules are sent to,like a banishment,or a sort of punishment,most of them serve time here before going to their various dimensions, why some spend eternity here"he answered as if he had read her mind.
"But it doesn't look so bad,I thought it'd look like hell or something "
"The place that actually looks like hell is called the beyond,those who go there never return,that body of light you saw earlier,that stage is called disembodiment,the final stage is when you're sent to the beyond,then you slowly dissipate into nothing "
(Wow that's crazy)She thought.
(Yeah crazy)She heard another voice inside her head, Liam's voice(wait you can hear my thoughts)she looked at him with a surprised look on her face.
(Yes sweetling,that's how the whole betroth thing works,telepathy is one of the perks)
"But why didn't you tell me or at least try it since"
"I wanted to surprise you"he said with a sly smile.
She smiled at him"That's pretty cool,so you won't you mind me reading my grocery list into your head one day"
He drew her closer by the waist ,so that their chests were touching,he brought his lips so close to her ears,for a split second she thought he was going to bite her right there and then.
"You can read any f*****g thing in my mind anytime,any day even it's a to do list,as far as it's your voice,it'll still be the most sexiest thing I've ever heard"
(And don't worry ,I can bite you anywhere you want later,after you've completed your third quest)He winked at her,reading her previous thought.
She blushed,it was so crazy how fast she has fallen for this man
