Chapter 6: EveningIt’s late and past rush hour. The masses have cleared out from the grocery store, leaving behind scraps for the latecomers to pick through. I would have gone out on the weekend, but no, I was stuck observing the eating habits of the prehistoric caveman. Sorry, insult to the Neanderthals and the other Homo sapien ancestors out there. I was stuck observing the eating habits of a wide-eyed, gulping toad, sucking down a frog. For all my want of food, the thought of Frank is turning me off from it. Still, should get this over with. I shuffle towards the automatic glass doors, feet dragging behind. First I will get a basket, pick up some apples, and then maybe I should get some premade salad, and then… Bonk! “Urgh…Oww…?!” My hands jump to my nose and forehead. I suck in air
