After three days in a coma, Doctor Parker wants to unhook the machines. So much could go wrong. It could be None’s last day.
It’ll take strength to face what’s coming. Shen left for the Presidential Suite to get some proper sleep. He’d never admit it but sleeping in None’s bed will make Shen feel closer to his brother.
MJ could only face a day like today with boots on. She wears comfortable clothes she can sleep in: jeans, T-shirt, and a sweater that can double as a makeshift pillow. She knew better than to wear mascara today. On this day of sorrow, MJ left her data glasses on the conference table. All the easier to wipe away tears.
Alone with None, in the Executive Briefing Room, MJ feels her energy draining from her. She’s so tired.
