None and MJ prep for the next episode of The Internet President backstage at the D.C. studio, surrounded by their entourage. MJ wears her curve-hugging power suit. Her scandalous black bustier attracts attention from agents and Corella’s staff.
Agent Vincent seems like he wants to say something but remains silent.
MJ looks over her shoulder. Nothing there. “I feel like I’m being watched.”
“You’re always watched when you wear that,” None says.
MJ says, “Corella fought against a version control show for weeks. Do you know what changed her mind?”
“I guess I wore her out.” None gives a thumbs-up.
“No. Fixing the law is a snoozefest. She said my power suit would help the ratings enough to do it. I even filmed promos in it.” MJ curtsies. “You’re welcome.”
