Shen watches lawnmower footage on the laptop at the hotel. He yells at None. “You’re risking this campaign with your behavior.” Shen shakes his head at MJ. “And you uploaded that video? It’s evidence.”
“Cops don’t watch YouTube for evidence,” MJ says.
None says, “Shen’s right. He might sue us or call the cops. We have to make it right. How can we fix America, if we can’t fix a flowerbed?”
MJ says, “OK. OK. We’ll eat and make a Home Depot run.”
They eat takeout. With only one shoe, sit-down restaurants aren’t an option.
After eating in the minivan, MJ uses the video to pick out the right type of flowers. They load crocus, tulips, and daisies into the minivan.
“Is Washington a ‘stand your ground’ state?” MJ asks.
